1. Request for Donation of Leave

Naphaphone Khamphoukeo is a Designer IV with the TEA Wastewater Staff Bargaining Unit. She will be on FMLA medical leave and is in need of leave donations. Members who wish to donate leave should complete a leave donation form from the County's benefits webpage [www.kingcounty.gov/audience/employees/benefits] and submit the form to the respective Human Resources department for processing. Please review the donor requirements at the webpage above, or on the form itself.

2. Transit Arbitration Hearing Briefs on TEA website

TEA's Transit Bargaining Legal Counsel prepared a brief on certain bargaining issues for consideration by the Arbitrator prior to the interest arbitration hearing in August. After the hearing, King County and TEA submitted summaries of their cases to the Arbitrator, followed by a post-hearing brief that was prepared with the participation of "partisans" from each side. These three documents are available on the TEA website, in the Transit transit menu dropdown.

3. Next Monthly Meeting

The next monthly meeting will be held October 18 on the 4th floor, 4-C conference room, noon-1PM.
