1. March Monthly meeting

Will be March 21st in 4G, KSC. 12 Noon

Topics in this newsletter will be covered in more detail at the monthly meeting as needed. Hope to see you there!

2. Bargaining updates

Wastewater Contracts

The County is reviewing our salary information and the next bargaining session is April 3.

Transit Contract Update

The Public Employees Regulatory Commission (PERC) certified the TEA Transit Staff bargaining unit for arbitration and TEA is preparing for that. As a reminder, we have settled on the following dates:

As we have more information we will continue to provide you updates. As always if you have questions on any bargaining issue please do not hesitate to contact one of the board members or you may email to lizziescafe@gmail.com

3. Leave Requests

We do not have any active requests pending. Please let a TEA board member know if a TEA member is in need of donations. Thanks.

4. BT cashout (Wastewater)

WW TEA members with BT balances over 600 hours in the pay period starting March 31 and ending April 13 forfeit BT hours over 600. If you believe you are close to this maximum you may cash out BT time on or before the deadline, take time off, or donate your time to someone else by March 30.

BT cashout requests must be received by WTD HR Cindy Burch by March 21. Cindy Burch sent out an email on February 7 with attached Excess Benefit Time Cashout application form to those with projected BT hours in over 480.

5. Healthy Incentives reminder

We are still gathering data regarding the switch to Regence and any problems that has caused TEA members. Please advise your Council Representative or any Board member.
