1. Leave Donation Requests

Naphaphone Khamphoukeo of WTD's Civil Engineering & Designer Group is in need of Leave Donations.

Randy Westendorf, Construction Manager for WTD Conveyance Inspection and Flow Monitoring group, is in need of Leave Donations.

If you would like to donate, please contact your Human Resources office for the appropriate forms and process for donations.


2. Monthly TEA Meeting

The next monthly meeting will be held November 18 at Noon on the 5th floor in the Harappa conference room.


3. Wastewater Bargaining Committee

The Wastewater Collective Bargaining Agreement for 2015 and 2016 was ratified by the Staff and Supervisor Bargaining Units on October 21. Legislation is now being forwarded to the King County Council by the Office of Labor Relations in order to approve and implement the contract.

Please consider participating in WW Bargaining Committee for 2016. TEA will be issuing a demand to bargain again early in 2nd Qtr. of 2016.

4. Transit Bargaining Committee

The Transit Bargaining Team is working to set a meeting date with the mediator. Please contact TEA Transit Bargaining Chair Jerry Williams for additional information.


5. Council of Representatives

The Council of Representatives has arranged several training sessions on Labor topics.

The first lunch-hour training to be offered by the TEA Attorney will be take place on Thursday, November 19, from 12- 1pm in the 5th floor Cloaca/Harappa conference rooms. This month's topic is The Duty to Bargain.

6. Upcoming Events

WTD's 2nd Annual Multicultural Thanksgiving Celebration will be held on Tuesday, November 10, from Noon-1:30 PM in the 6th floor King (#604) and Chinook (#609) conference rooms. Attendees are encouraged to bring a special cultural dish or non-perishable food donation.
