1. TEA Monthly Meeting
The April member meeting is scheduled for the third Wednesday, 4/16, in the Harappa Room #5142, KSC 5th Floor from 12-1pm. All members are welcome. Send agenda items to the President or Secretary.
2. Transit Contract Update
The roll over contract has been signed and has been transmitted by Labor Relations to the Executive. Currently we anticipate the contract will be approved by the King County Council in the summer. Check in with Elizabeth Wright, Transit Bargaining Chair, if you have any questions.
3. WW Bargaining Committee
The WW Bargaining Committee met on April 8, 2014 and further identified bargaining issues for this year's Collective Bargaining Agreement. Bargaining with the county will start in June.
4. VEBA Vote in May
TEA will be conducting a VEBA vote in May, 2014 at the monthly meeting to determine participation in the 2015 VEBA program by TEA's three respective bargaining units. Please visit the King County Benefits home page to find information on the VEBA program.
