Special Transit Meeting - Wed. 11/20
Review and discuss Tentative Contract Proposal
Transit Staff are invited to meet and discuss the latest Contract Proposal for the year 2014 (1/1/14 - 12/31/14) on Wednesday 20, 2013, from 12-1pm in room 4D.
The Bargaining Team has reached a tentative agreement (TA) on a 1-year roll-over agreement for 2014. The TA includes a small COLA for 2014 and maintains the 2013 medical plans.
The TA also includes a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that will bind the Transit bargaining team to a very strict negotiation schedule for the preparation of the 2015 contract.
Transit TEA members are encouraged to attend the meeting to learn more and share to their perspective on the TA contract terms. A link to the TA and MOA is posted on the TEA website.
Ballots for the vote are being prepared and will be distributed shortly. Ballots will be due December 4th, 2013.
