consistent with current practice. Note: the language proposed to be
deleted is crossed out and the proposed new wording is in red and underlined:
- Section B (3). Regular Meetings
"Regular meetings will be attended by the Board and the Council, but attendance
is open to any Full Member. Voting will be cast by all Full members present
the Board and the Council, except in the case of a special election as described in Article IX, Section B."
- Section B (4). Regular Meetings
"The initial Regular Meetings will be held at a date set by the Board
the third Wednesday of the month.
Subsequent Regular Meetings will be held monthly at a day and time determined by a majority vote of the Council and the Board present at the previous Regular Meeting."
The TEA Bylaws are posted on the TEA website: www.teaseattle.org
TEA Representatives for Productivity Incentive Fund in WTD
For the past year, TEA has had three Wastewater representatives (Roger Browne, Laura Wharton and Joe Barnett) on the Wastewater Productivity Initiative Fund committee. The committee charter calls for members to serve for 1-year. Each year, TEA and the other unions in WTD have an opportunity to extend or replace their representatives.
The TEA Board needs to make a recommendation to the Committee by the end of December 2002. If you work in WTD and have an interest in the Productivity Incentive Fund Committee, please respond to the TEA website or contact Eric Mandel, TEA Treasurer or Ken Madden, TEA President by 12/30/02.
